A traditional Kuwaiti household item, the Heb pottery, which was used as a cooling water container in the past, is reimagined as a lamp. By integrating patterned perforations, the Nayyerah - Arabic for light- lamp illuminates atypical patterns onto its surroundings.

Made in Kuwait
As part of a charitable exhibition by Kuwait's Abolish 153 women’s right organization in effort to nullify the honor killing law, the photograph brings the Kuwaiti identity of the law to public attention by depicting the Abaya, a traditional Kuwaiti female outwear, as the victim handcuffed by the aggressor that is the Egal, a traditional headpiece worn by men.

Perspective Manipulation
A visual manipulation project depicting mundane household items from forks, juicer, tissue roll and table legs in an unrecognizable manner. The aim was to bring out the visual and physical significance of these typically insignificant objects.
